My Background
My initial preference to music dates back to the time when I was five with the piano instrument. The next enforcing phase in my musical life was high school when my visit to a professional children music teacher changed my attitude to the beauty and attraction of children music.
Research into music, has introduced Orff music to me and how the utilization of this music type helps children to improve their skills such as communication and social skills.
After university (2011) working as a music and Orff teacher at different schools and music institutes has given me the chance to develop my knowledge and experience in piano lessons and ABRSM grades.
Through reading about Orff music, my field of interest, I experienced working with a group of kids with different ages and abilities to perform different songs in front of people in concert hall, which was quite influential on my determination to succeed. Moreover, while working with American Orff-Shulwerk association, Orff Uk and other master classes around the world, I further developed my social skills, particularly, how to cooperate with music teachers around the world. Research into how improvisation can encourage children to explore their abilities in music, helped me understand why taking advantage of this teaching strategy can have positive effect on the enhancement of student's creativity.

Our mission is to be the home of creativity for people in the Stockport area, of all abilities and backgrounds providing a safe and welcoming space to inspire a new generation of musicians, indeed all musicians.
I am a strong believer that everyone should be able to have a life of music. That's why I became a teacher. Whether you're a just a beginner or an advanced student needing guidance, let's explore music together!
My Classes
For children aged 4 to 7 ,Manchester kids music offer (orff) group lessons across a range of instruments including Percussions, Xylophones and Descant recorder.
For those aged 7+ we deliver one to one in person or online Piano lessons.
If you're unsure about which level is appropriate for you, I also offer placement tests!
